Microsoft aims to invest more in China

In the background of the trade war between the USA and China, while many companies are laying off workers on a massive scale, Microsoft is doing just the opposite. The software giant has announced the creation of another 1,000 jobs in China over the next year. News Techtimes.

Various US companies, including Apple, are currently trying to reduce or wind-up investment in the Chinese market. While Companies are looking for an alternative country other than China, Microsoft is keen to invest there even more.

China is currently the second largest economy in the world. Microsoft’s announcement of investing more in China is deemed as its confidence in the economy.

Microsoft currently has more than 9,000 employees in China. The Redmont, Washington-based technology giant wants to increase the number to 10,000 within the next year.

To be noted that Microsoft has offices in 13 cities in China.
